New Painting: A New Perspective
I recently bought myself a set of acrylics. Oil paint can get unpleasantly odoriferous, especially in the winter where ventilation comes at a high price. At first, I wasn't thrilled with the consistency of the paints, but after adding matte gel medium I am enjoying it much more.
Here is my first acrylic effort, in an illustrative style.

Photomontages on Display at NARH
The North Adams Regional Hosptial features Jennifer K. Mulcahy's digital photomontages beginning February 1. Art can be viewed 7 days a week in the hall by Medical Imaging on the ground floor through August 15.
